Meet the Founder

My name is Donice Cully, and I’m so grateful you are here. Sister in Love was born from the soil of my own healing, a garden tended with faith, community, and hard-won lessons after walking through the fractures of family life. As the daughter of a single mother and later a divorced mom of two, I carried the weight of broken stability, yet chose the path of healing to change the story for myself, my children, and the generations to come.

Through valleys of poverty, violence, sexual abuse, and loss, I found strength in therapy, God’s presence in nature, and the quiet gift of learning to love myself again. This journey revealed a truth that now shapes my calling: when families are given the support and resources they need, they can break cycles of adversity and create safe, nurturing spaces where both children and caregivers thrive. Sister in Love exists to restore that heartbeat, so families may heal and communities may flourish.
